3. Customer Data

Addresses

In the Addresses tab, you will have the option to enter one or more addresses for this account while creating it. For each address you wish to create, click Add New Address. The address list will have a separate entry for each address, and you can designate which address is the Default Billing Address and which is the Default Shipping Address by selecting the check-box. The default addresses will automatically be selected from the address drop-down each time an order is placed with this account.


You can perform such basic operations as:

  1. Add address  calls blank Edit Customer Adress form, which is used to create a new address.
  2. To edit address you can double click on it or use Edit  button. It calls Edit Address form for selected customer.

  3. You can delete address from your store using appropriate button . You won't be able to undo delete from store option, unless you've made a database backup.
  4. To adjust columns width use icon or enable column auto width option .

Orders

Lists all Orders created by the customer. Clicking on an order will redirect to the Order page, which contains for detailed information and has additional features, such as creating Invoices and Shipments. You can go to any order immediately using corresponding button. Also you can adjust columns width using  icon or enable column auto width option .


Shopping Cart

Lists all products currently in the customer’s Shopping Cart, with the option to Delete each product. Clicking on a product will redirect you to that product’s page. Also you can adjust columns width using  icon or enable column auto width option .


Wishlist

Wishlist let your customers save items they are interested in for later viewing. Customers do not need to register or sign in in order to add item to the Wishlist. This tab allows you to see products that current customer have in his/her wishlist. Also you can adjust columns width using  icon or enable column auto width option .


Newsletter

Here you can subscribe or unsubscribe this customer from the newsletter, as well as view a list of all the newsletters of which this customer is a recipient. This looks very similar to the Newsletter Queue, and includes both Sent and Not Sent newsletters. You can adjust columns width using icon or enable column auto width option .


Product Reviews

Lists all Product Reviews submitted by the customer, and clicking on a Review will redirect you to that review’s tab. Product Rating system allows you to customize rating categories by which your customers can rate products when they create product reviews.


You can choose to add, edit or delete Reviews. You can perform such basic operations as:

  • Add review  calls blank Edit review form, which is used to create a new review. Edit review description see below.
  • To edit review you can double click on it or use edit review  button. It calls edit review form for highlighted product. Please see below for options.
  • You can delete selected review from your store , but you won't be able to undo delete from store option unless you've made d-base backup.
  • To adjust columns width use  icon or enable column auto width option.
  • Use Show all reviews or Show reviews of current customer filters to manage reviews view.

Edit Review.

To add a new review or edit one, proceed through several steps:

  1. Click on create new or edit review icon, the edit category window will appear.


  2. Specify the following General Information:

    • Product - You can see the name of highlighted product to which you wish to add a review.
    • Posted By - Specify any name or nick.
    • Product Rating - This will state “Rating isn’t Available” until you select at least one Store View in which this rating will be visible, from the Visible In drop-down below. Once this is done, the same Rating table that is available to your customers in the selected Store View will appear, in which you can select 1-5 stars for each Rating option and a summary rating.
    • Status - Select whether the Review will be Approved, Pending, or Not Approved. For it to display in the front-end, it must be Approved.
    • Visible In - Select the Store Views in which this rating will display for the designated product.
    • Nickname - Enter the name of the reviewer as it will appear in the front-end.
    • Summary of Review - Enter the title of the review as it will appear in the front-end.
    • Review - Enter the contents of the review as they will appear in the front-end.
    • Edit HTML button - shows new HTML editor window. It has 2 tabs: HTML and Code, and Properties Toolbar. Source preview is useful if you are working directly with "raw" HTML text, which gives you precise control over the tags used in the page. However, by default, you can still work with objects visually.

  3. Click Ok to save this entry, or click cancel to discard this entry. If you set the Status to Approved, this review will appear in your store.

Product Tags

Lists all Product Tags submitted by the customer, and clicking on a Tag will redirect you to that tag’s tab.

Product Tags basically are keywords that can be assigned to products. Tags help your customers organize and remember the products that they have seen and offer quick navigation options in your store.

Shows all tags that this product has been given by users, and the number of times each tag has been used.


You can choose to add or delete Tags for highlighted product either using toolbar


 or Context menu

You can perform such basic operations as:

  1. Add tag calls blank New Tag form, which is used to create a new tag.

    To create a new tag you should specify its name and status. Also you can change the status of this tag. Click Ok to save this entry, and to create a new tag, or click cancel to discard this entry.


    To create a new tag using Product radio button you should specify its store view and existing product, also you need to enter tag name and status. Click Ok to save this entry, and to create a new tag, or click cancel to discard this entry.

  2. To edit tag you can double click on it and change any value you need.
  3. You can delete selected tag from your store . Pay attention that you won't be able to undo delete from store option unless you've made d-base backup.
  4. To adjust columns width use icon or enable column auto width option.
  5. Use Show all tags or Show Tags of Current product filters to manage its view.
